Art sowing
In 2008 Elisa Bollazzi promoted the so-called Art sowings, parcels of land cultivated with art, with valuable micro-particles of artworks whose titles clearly show the selection criteria adopted: Albero di 3 metri, 1988-89, Giuseppe Penone, Watermelons, 1984, Piero Gilardi, The Garden, 2008, Paul McCarthy, Phosphorescent Yellow Roses. Woody, Jeanne Silverthorne, and so on.
Benches or chairs are set near the areas for the public to sit and wait for an utopic art-garden to grow in a thought-provoking space, a meeting point, where the work of art starts a process that changes the way we look at the “art system”. It is a beneficial wait that stimulates creativity in the contemplation of a growing art garden.
in 2011 Elisa Bollazzi started the so-called Art sowings on demand by sending valuable art-particles to Microcollection supporters, artists, friends all over the world to be planted and looked after for ever.

at the feet of a palm tree in the private garden of the Hostelworld, where the artist Patrizia Giambi took her residence during her Miami visiting and in honor of Paul McCarthy’s favourite matter and considering that dogs love shiting in the grass, Giambi thought that the artwork The Garden would grow well at the feet of the palm tree, making the Hostel more than a merely youth location into an art contemporary corner.
